What hard truth about your business have you been avoiding?
What does the data in your business tell you right now? (We are spending alot of time on this with our agents!)
Are you adapting to reality or resisting it?
What’s one reality-based action you can take TODAY that will improve your business and your finances?
“You’re a lot closer to changing your life than you think. You’re one more meeting, one more relationship, one more decision, one more action, or one more thought from leading the life you deserve.” – Ed Mylett
Tagging isn’t just about labeling people as buyers or sellers. It’s about organizing your database so you can build better relationships, market more effectively, and leverage SmartPlans with precision.
What Makes a Great Tag?
Think Beyond the Basics: Use tags to capture personal details—interests, careers, life stages, or client behavior.
Shorter Is Better: Instead of long phrases like “Loan Buyer from New York,” break it into:
“Buyer” • “Loan” • “Out of State”
Custom Tags = Custom Service: Make your clients feel known. Tags can help you match people for referrals, events, or personalized touches.
Why It Matters:
Filter SmartPlans & Marketing: Send messages that matter. Don’t blast your database—target it with value.
Organize with Purpose: Group contacts into categories like “Vendors,” “Referral Partners,” “Open House Attendees,” or “Luxury Buyers.”
Keep It Clean: Too many tags? It gets messy fast. Review your tags quarterly. Be consistent with naming—avoid duplicates like “VIP” and “V.I.P.”
Weekly Challenge: Pick 25 people in your Command database and ask:
Do they have the right tags?
Can I segment them better?
What do I know about them that I haven’t captured yet?
Smart tagging = smart marketing = better results.
Take Action Today! Start tagging your database smarter, and watch how it transforms your connections, marketing, and results. Let’s get to work and make every interaction count!

Join us in celebrating these 10 outstanding Market Centers in the Southwest Region for leading the charge in growth and setting the bar for excellence!
Your leadership, commitment, and focus are creating a ripple effect—driving results not just in your own offices, but across our entire region.
Let’s keep growing—stronger, smarter, and together.
Here’s something the Southwest Region recently picked up from the team at Giftology—and it’s too good not to share. It’s simple, it’s timeless, and it works. If you’re in a relationship-based business (and let’s be honest, we all are), these two tools will increase your referrals and make you easier to talk about: 👉 3-way texts and clarity conversations.
1️⃣ The 3-Way Text When you know two people in your network should meet, don’t overthink it. Just connect them. The 3-way text is the fastest, most trust-building move you can make. You say something kind about each person, give context for the intro, and suggest a next step. That’s it.
Example:
“Hey Rachel and Dan—I wanted to connect you two. Rachel’s an amazing interior designer who’s been transforming high-end listings for our team. Dan owns a boutique staging company and has worked wonders in the same space. Thought it might be worth a quick chat to compare notes and explore collab ideas.”
That’s 90 seconds of effort that can spark thousands of dollars in opportunity—or at the very least, goodwill you can’t buy.
2️⃣ Clarity Conversations If you’ve ever stumbled when someone asks what you do, you’re not alone. That’s why Clarity Conversations—another standout from the Giftology framework—are so powerful. They’re intentional, two-way conversations that clarify who you are, what you offer, and what kind of referrals you’re actually looking for.
Example: After sitting down with a financial advisor recently, I asked, “If I were to refer someone to you, what would I actually say?” That led to a 15-minute conversation where we boiled down his offer into one clear sentence, identified three ideal referral types, and even uncovered a few natural shoulder industries we hadn’t considered before. Now, I can talk about his business like I’m part of it—and that’s the whole point.
Everyone’s out here trying to automate connection. But the real wins still come from genuine conversations and thoughtful introductions. Shoutout to the team at Giftology for continuing to lead with practical tools that actually move the needle.
These are the kinds of things that keep you top of mind—and worth referring to.

Spring isn’t just for cleaning closets and garages — it’s the perfect time to dust off your database and turn it into a revenue-generating machine.
At Keller Williams, we say it often and we mean it: Your database is your business.
Here’s your spring cleaning checklist to refresh, refocus, and reignite your pipeline:
1. Build or Revisit Your Contact List
Whether you’re starting from scratch or pulling contacts from Command, your phone, or spreadsheets—make sure it’s all in one place and ready to work for you.
Group your contacts by how they know you: SOI, VIPs, past clients, leads, referrals, vendors, etc. This allows for targeted follow-ups that are actually relevant.
Missing birthdays, addresses, or contact preferences? Use this season to reconnect and fill the gaps. Pro tip: Ask about their real estate plans for the year—you’ll be surprised how many are thinking about buying or selling.
Put everyone on a plan that makes sense. Use tools like Neighborhood Nurture, Birthday SmartPlans, and Quarterly Calls to stay top of mind and show you care.
Every call should end with a next step. It’s not about blasting through your list—it’s about building meaningful relationships and creating future business.
Spring cleaning your database = spring growing your business.
Let us know if you want to hop on a quick Zoom to walk through your database together, or if you’re ready to dive into Command and start segmenting, tagging, and setting up SmartPlans.
Let’s make this the season of growth and great conversations!
